Every tour run by Osmose at Prek Toal directly funds our environmental education program in the floating villages. Booking a tour already means supporting the next generation of lake guardians. But you can also give directly, in any amount. Here are our current suggestions:

$5 — One Book
Funds a book chosen with Sipar Library NGO for one of our classrooms, to renew and diversify our floating libraries.

$25 — A Month of Learning
Funds a month of environmental education sessions for an entire classroom.

$60 — Emergency Hospital Transport
When a child or family member needs urgent care, the trip to Siem Reap can make all the difference. This covers one transport.

$100 — A Year of Environmental Education
Covers close to a full year of materials and lessons for one child.

$100/month — 50kg of Rice for 3 Families
Supports the most vulnerable families in the floating villages, especially during low-water season when fishing income drops.

$200 — Annual Study Trip
A 2-day excursion to Siem Reap for our environmental education students, to discover their country “on land”: the wonder of Angkor Wat and the wildlife of Phnom Kulen. For many children, it’s the first time they’ve left the lake. We support close to 1,000 children across our program; funding one classroom of 40 students already makes a real difference.

$400 — Monthly Medical Visit
Partnering with Angkor Hospital for Children (AHC) in Siem Reap to help Osmose sustain monthly medical visits to children in the floating villages. These check-ups give families regular access to healthcare they otherwise wouldn’t have.

Open — Material Support
House construction, floating gardens, water filters, books and games for our floating libraries and platforms. Budget depends on the project — get in touch and we’ll share our quotations.
